About this portal
Moscow Welcome is an independent English-language Moscow guide and local assistance project by Igor Fedorov, connected with the Italiani in Russia ecosystem. It is not an official city, government, bank or consular website.
Browser-local tools
Your saved places, itinerary and travel checklist are stored in this browser using local storage. They are not sent to us by these tools. Clear them using the controls provided or your browser’s website-data settings. They will not automatically appear on another device.
External services
Maps use OpenStreetMap tiles and the Leaflet library from unpkg.com, loaded when you request a map. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Opening WhatsApp or another external website is subject to that provider’s privacy terms. WordPress uses cookies for administration and login; hosting systems may keep technical access logs.

Commercial disclosure
Local assistance is a paid service where agreed individually. Our guide uses labelled Travelpayouts affiliate links for booking providers. If you book through these links, Moscow Welcome may earn a commission without an extra charge to you. The provider handles your booking, payment and cancellation. Affiliate URLs carry our partner identifier, the Moscow Welcome project identifier and a placement identifier so referrals can be attributed. Following a link connects you to external services under their privacy and cookie terms. The optional Aviasales flight form connects to Travelpayouts and its partners only when you press “Load flight search”. You can use the guide without loading that form.
Information & sources
Rules, payment acceptance, opening arrangements and events can change. Check official sources before making decisions: Russian MFA e-visa portal, Moscow Transport, your own government’s travel advice, and each venue or organiser. The travel essentials and exhibition selection were checked on 19 October 2026. Personal legal and financial decisions require advice appropriate to your situation.
